The 2021-2022 Cohort of PREP@UCD scholars and affiliates are making have made decisions about grad school! They have worked hard and their mentors have provided tremendous support.

We are SO excited and proud of them.

• Brayan Vilanova will join Cornell University's Field of Microbiology as a College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Stadtman Fellow and Graduate School Dean's Scholar.
• Brandon Reyes-Chavez, a PREP@UCD Undergraduate Affiliate, also has accepted an offer from Cornell's Field of Microbiology. 
• AAAND, Natasha Mariano (GRFP Honorable Mention!) is going to Cornell in the Field of Genetics, Genomics, and Development.
• Carla Campos is going north to the University of Oregon's Biology program, with a U of O Graduate Studies Promising Scholar Award.
  • Update 4 April: AND Carla received a fellowship from the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program! Woo hoo!
• UC Davis is fortunate that Héctor Navarro and Julia Godinez, another undergraduate affilliate, have decided to join BMCDB at UC Davis.
• José Torres Ayende has accepted admission to the University of Wisconsin, in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Program.
• Affiliate Kaitlyn Abe also will be at the U of Wisconsin, in the Biophysics program. On Wisconsin!
