The members of the 2024-2025 PREP@UC Davis cohort have made decisions about their next steps.

• Marco Alarcon will join the UC Davis Graduate Group in Neuroscience as a member of Patrick Fuller's lab.
• Brooke Garland is exploring positions in STEAM education and outreach programs in the non-profit sector.
• Christian Torres is headed to the University of Colorado.
• Zoe Upham will attend Yale University, with funding from the Gruber Science Fellowship. This is the most prestigious award offered by the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences to incoming science students in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments and exceptional promise. 
• Paloma Kai Velez is staying at UC Davis in BMCDB. Paloma also received an Honorable Mention for the NSF GRFP. Yowza!
• Jewel Wilson will join a MS program at St. Jude's.
• It's On (to) Wisconsin for both Aaron Dukes and Angel Perez -- two of this year's stellar undergraduate affiliates.
• Postbac affiliate Yzzy Mello will be at our sister campus, UCSF.
• Another postbac affiliate, Noah Guillome, has been admitted to the UC Davis Microbiology graduate program, in the lab of Tiffany Lowe-Power.
• Yuxin Jiang, an undergraduate affiliate from 2023-2024, will join the plant science PhD program at Michigan State.
