The entire 2022-2023 cohort of PREP@UCD scholars and affiliates after the research symposium
PREP annual research symposium
by Carole L Hom
The PREP scholars once again did fantastically well in their research presentations. We are so very proud of them (yes, we know that we are repeating ourselves, but it's true) and wish them all the best as they embark on their next academic adventures.
We were joined online by many members of the 2023-2024 PREP@UCD cohort. Check back after 1 July for their bios!

Angel illustrated by C. elegans makes a phenomenal model organism for studies of meiosis
Arielle's research integrated molecular biology, behavior, and traumatic brain injury

Johnny's talk about genetic regulation of development included a concise refresher about early cranial development in vertebrates
One of these things is not like the other: from Julianna, a researcher in a marine evolutionary biology lab, we learned about computational methods and marine snails.
Kiya's presentation on neurodevelopment included her amazing and clear illustrations.
